Gabo Azurdia is a Latine photographer based in Boston, MA, whose work explores themes of identity, family, and belonging. Drawing from both personal and shared histories, her practice blends documentary and archival approaches to reflect on memory and connection. Azurdia received her undergraduate degree in Photography from Lesley University, building on a foundation in photography and film from Boston Arts Academy.

Her work has been featured in various group exhibitions in the greater Boston Area, including The Curated Fridge’s Summer 2025 show curated by Karen Haas and the Fay Chandler Emerging Art Exhibition at Boston City Hall and exhibitions at the Photographic Resource Center, Cambridge Arts Association, and Jameson and Thompson Gallery. She has received multiple honors, including AIGA Worldstudio Honorable Mention, PRC BFA Photography Student Award, and Lesley LA+D Rising Artist Award.
